2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift Launched

Maruti Suzuki Baleno may have been in the Indian market since 2015, but the craze for its demand is only going up. This premium hatchback has crossed a remarkable milestone by selling 16,917 units between August 2018 to January 2019. Baleno has left all its rivals far behind in the run. Now, to add new flavor to it, Maruti unleashed Baleno Facelift in this new year, 2019. After the new year launch of Facelift, the sale of this premium hatchback has gone up and we can’t ignore the fact that the changes made in it enticed people even more. It will come with 4 variants namely Sigma (petrol only), Zeta, Delta, and Alpha.

You get the new alloy pattern on the wheel that looks pretty nice. You can notice a big change in its front as compared to the previous version. Now, it has a wider face, updated headlights and the grille got a new 3D design. The intention of Maruti was to make Baleno a bit wider along with some changes in its interior.

The moment you entered into the cabin; you will find it quite appealing. It looks not so fancy but surely sophisticated in terms of color, materials, finishing and esthetic. The big difference you can find is the Smart play Studio infotainment system that has been installed beside the instrument console, to the edge of that nicely finished dashboard. It is quite easy to use with some useful features to play around and, of course, the graphics and interface are much more appreciated.  You get a delightful seat fabric with a nice-looking appearance which will take care of your utmost comfort. Space was the most important factor that Maruti worked toward quite well.

However, talking about the mechanical changes, you will not get any changes. It comes with 1.2 L K-series VVT petrol engine producing a power of 83 bhp and 115 Nm of torque. It is 5 speed manual or auto CVT option. The diesel variant is 1.3 L DDiS producing a power of 74 bhp and 190 Nm of torque with a 5 speed manual transmission only. The mileage of both the petrol and diesel engines are 21.4 km/L and 27.39 km/L respectively. The price is going to be in the range of 5. 4.5 to 8.60 lakh.

Suzuki Baleno is one of the crucial models for Maruti as well as in the Indian auto market. So, this improvement in its size and design will definitely draw more attention than it had before.
